Worldwide Express – B.V. focuses on employee development to achieve growth

Worldwide Express – B.V. is one of the largest operators of Worldwide Express franchises in the country with markets in eleven states. The company strongly believes in professional development as a key factor in achieving growth.  That is why they have started offering APICS training courses in addition to an internal professional designation program built upon MIT’s Open Courseware in Supply Chain Management and Logistics. This latest development is part of a larger effort to expand knowledge based services to customers through Worldwide Supply Chain Solutions℠.  Brian Tribble CSCP, President of Worldwide Express-B.V. set the program in motion Q1 of 2016.

While the proprietary Global Logistics Specialist, GLS℠ and Global Logistics Professional, GLP℠ designations are the starting point for an employee’s development, APICS plays a critical role in providing a secondary curriculum.

In the last quarter of 2016 Worldwide Express – B.V. saw three additional professionals earn external certifications through APICS.  They are: two - APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), and one - CSCP Associate Instructor.
